my kitchen will not be open for normal meals. I will be eating with my mistress. BUT I will be cooking BACON at the fighting field with the Ktcheners. All who consume are requested to make a donation but it is not required. Bacon, PB&J sandwiches, chicken soup, oranges, pickles etc
Any and all are invited to consume including ALL kingdoms. This is for ALL fighters. Help in the kitchen would be gratefully accepted as this goes on for four days.

Just to make it unofficially official, it is now crunch time. I an hopeful at last on the garb front. Armor is coming along nicely, although not as hussar-ish as I hoped, but hey, its legal. Have a garage tent even though i wanted something more period, I'll be using those funds to pick up more garb instead.
Authorizations will have to take place at Scott's Welsh on a work week end. I'll be there after work, dead tired and only staying long enough to fight for authorization and rushing off to get some sleep before work that night. Hopefully ill be able to say hi to anyone else that may be there before i pass out.

Having some issues with garb...whats new!! I always rip the crotch out of my trousers!! Anyone have any luck within ior out of the house that isn't already taxed beyond belief?

I already have to do that in my mundane life...SCA is a way to "escape" that right? I'm thinking tights....I saw some when I took my little girl to see The Nutcracker over the holidays...now I know what they named the ballet after!

The mundane-ity of a packing list just hit me. I need to get to the shed at the ex's and see if there is more than a garage tent there.. cot, chairs, towels, table... ohmygosh ....

Hey just talked to Yoan,

He needs confirmation numbers from those that are pre registered, mundane and sca name, tent size and date of arrival. I am emailing him with the info Kaz and I have at the moment.

Since David and I didn't pre reg any sway you have Gunnar would be appreciated.

OK, Sunday March 7th, The Sunday before war. The trailer is being loaded. Some new items for war and functions to follow. We will be in the Oldenfeld encampment in the Trimaris area. We will need help in the Kicheners tent down by the battlefield Wednesday thru Saturday. I start cooking Bacon at around 9:00 am (to get ahead of the eaters). The sandwich makers, soup servers, etc. should come 10:00-1:00. This is a donation service. But all kingdoms are welcome. We ONLY have 200 lbs of bacon, so share with others. See you all there. Let me know SOON if there is something you need to come with us. Phillipe
